View this post on Instagram Friday honestly can’t come quick enough😍 Craving some cocktails from my favourite student hotspot Nancy’s! (@nancysbordello) If you are a student in Newcastle, you are probably familiar with this place, whether you’re there all the time for their famous pub quiz or just walking by on your way to uni. The cocktails are delicious and super cheap with student discount and I also love their Sunday lunches☺️ If you are visiting, I recommend you pick a quiz night which I believe is Thursday nights (Tonight!) and Sunday nights! The quizzes are a right laugh and a really good excuse to get out of the flat - quizzes are educational afterall😉 A post shared by Holly’s Habits (@hollyshabiits) on Oct 18, 2018 at 3:58am PDT View this post on Instagram Sunday sarnies and soup anyone?🥪 As a student, Sunday is when I miss home a little bit more than usual because what’s a Sunday without a Sunday roast😩 It’s not entirely impossible to make a Sunday roast in my student flat but balancing a roast on my lap while watching dinner date doesn’t have the same cosy feel😅😂 Plus if you think about the expense, the effort and the time it takes to make, I could literally pop on a plane back to Northern Ireland and get a roast from my Mam😂 So, we have to make due with other cosy food and what’s not to love when it comes to soup and sandwiches. It’s cheap, filling and super comforting and on a miserable Toon day like this - it’s simply perfect!😍 A post shared by Holly’s Habits (@hollyshabiits) on Oct 14, 2018 at 3:29am PDT View this post on Instagram DOUGHNUT JUDGE MY EATING HABITS🍩 • • • Catching up on the Great British Bake Off today and wistfully wishing I was back in Dublin tasting these doughnut delights from @therollingdonut_ 😍 Not only photogenic but filled with amazing flavours and so filling🤤 If you are ever in Dublin, you simply have to check them out! My name is Holly and I am an English and Journalism student at Northumbria University. I have a wide variety of healthy but mostly unhealthy (oops!) habits when it comes to food! I’ve decided to take a stab at the Instagram blogging life in an attempt to bring two of my most favourite passions in life together - food and writing! Food brings so many of us together and so I want this small cosy corner of the internet to make you drool, inspire you to be creative with your cooking and give you a bit of guidance on how to explore your city and find the best grub and drinks! I also have a healthy passion for a good bargain and discount so watch this space for all your food student hacks! • • • I’ve been working up to this for a while now and I would really appreciate all the support I can get! I’m so excited to see where this blog will go so bare with while I try to get my feet off the ground. In the meantime, enjoy this picture of an @bellaitaliarestaurants pizza date I went on last week with some gal pals! My hoisin duck pizza was Y U M M Y and I devoured the whole thing like a champ😉😋 • • • #FoodBlog #Foodies #Pizza #NewBloggers #NewcastleUponTyne #BellaItalia #lifestyleblogger #blogger #foodbloggers #hoisinduck #girlblogger #studentblogger #studentlife #girldates A post shared by Holly’s Habits (@hollyshabiits) on Oct 12, 2018 at 7:11pm PDT Comments
